We are thrilled to announce that world-renowned children’s author Chris Van Allsburg has turned to Arbor Hospice and Hospice of Michigan to feature his latest project, Jumanji: The Next Level, Sony Picture’s 2019 Holiday blockbuster film.

For more than a decade, renowned children’s author Chris Van Allsburg, and his wife Lisa, have supported pediatric hospice care through charity screening events for the film versions of Chris’ classic childrens’ books. This legacy continues with the statewide film screening of the 3rd installment in the Jumanji series.

Dating back to the highly successful movie premieres of The Polar Express in 2004 and Zathura in 2005 – which raised more than $1.5 M for end-of-life pediatric care – Mr. Van Allsburg, has generously shared his talents to benefit our community’s youngest residents. This statewide fundraising event is yet another example of his continued commitment to shine a light on the important care provided to terminally and chronically ill pediatric patients and their families within the Anchors Programs for Children.
